WATER CRADLE(D)
Water Cradle(d) is a reflection on the complex ecology and function of wetlands. Seasonally ephemeral and reduced to urban remnants, the artwork invites us to reconsider our relationship with this ecosystem that binds land and water together. Embracing sustainability would redesign wetlands into the folds of land and water would be held to gently seep, nourish and cleanse. Entering the work is a sensory experience of both a place and process where life originates and flourishes.
Water Cradle(d) was an ephemeral multimedia installation created for Harbour Sculpture 2017, Woolwich Sydney
