Recovering Roots
These, mostly small works, feel into my family history; the fragile chinks of insight I may have of ancestral stories, journeys and circumstance (adrift), and explore the intersection with my sense of self (anchoring).
The catalyzing show with The Broad Collective at Chrissie Cotter Gallery, took me back to Newtown and surrounds, my old 20’s something stomping ground and family territory over the previous century.
